Consultant for arts education and evaluation within museums and galleries 

I have over twenty years' experience working in the arts and museum sectors and would like to share my knowledge and expertise with you in the following areas:

Arts Education

• Devising and delivering workshops for young people;

• Setting up youth forums and advising on how organisations should approach this;

• Writing safeguarding policies in relation to working with young people.

Diversifying the Workforce

• Identifying progression routes for young people within the arts sector;

• Mentoring on careers focused museums and gallery programmes;

• Setting up and recruiting for paid traineeships.

This work is particularly with early career individuals who feel they are under-represented in the sector workforce, do not have specific qualifications and experience, and could see these roles as an alternative to studying at university.

Arts Evaluation

• Carrying out quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies including running consultation sessions;

• Writing reports that present key findings and make future recommendations;

• Acting as a critical friend including providing advice and relevant contacts.
